The 3D view may not work on all PCs, Its all down to the
capabilities of your Display card, it needs to be DirectX 8.1(or
higher) Compatible, but here are a few things you can do to
help it
First ensure you have DirectX v8.1(or higher) installed, you
can get a copy from microsoft for Windows 98, 98SE, ME,
2000, But XP has it built-in. Ensure you have the latest driver
for your graphics display, do a search for the company that
makes your card, most have their drivers available to
download.
Make sure you use 16bit colour or 32bit colour modes, 24bit
will most likely not work with DirectX.
One more thing, click START, RUN and type: DXDIAG this is a
diagnostic program for directX, you can ignore most of what
you see, just go straight to the "display" section, and run the
DIRECT3D test, you should see a Spinning Cube with a
directX logo on each side. If you do not, then theres a
problem with DirectX, Your display driver, or your card, so
theres nothing in satscape that you can change to make it
work, the problem lies with one of the other components.
