I originally posted about this on the old forums a while ago but I still haven't got it solved.

Pass predictions for the ISS are completely different from Satscape and Heavens Above. They are both set up with the same coordinates and I have just updated Satscape but they are still different.

I also tried running STS Plus which gave yet another set of results, but a lot of these were near enough the same as the ones from Heavens Above. All are using the same location, same time settings, visible passes only.

Any help would be appreciated as I am very confused.

Hi Luca,
I've noticed a few "discrepencies" between times of passes etc, but nothing significant.

Theres only 3 things I can think of that it could be...
1. Different set of keps being used
2. Different Satellite algorythm used.
3. Different Lat/log or Height above sea level

Are they out by huge amounts?

Scott
