I received the email today that the update database function
is now working, and indeed, I tried it and my satellite.dat
file indeed is updated. I know it updated because I looked
at the actual file in the Programs>Satscape folder...

The problem is, although the file updated, it is not actually
displaying any of the data in the satellite data window at
the bottom right corner of the 3D display. This has happened
on two different machines where I did Update Database...

Any tips? An error in the .dat file perhaps?

I've got the same problem here on this end also, it works but it shows nothing now as far as info. I hope this will be fixed soon.

I am having the same problem. I was very happy when the new file downloaded, then I seen a blank info screen. I use this program everyday and really like it. I hope this little problem is fixed soon!

Thank You! to Scott for all of his work!!

Mmmm, it appears its downloading the file, but messing up the format, Not to worry, I've made an alteration to the Satscape program to correct the problem, so v2.02 is now on the site, but if you have v2.01 already installed, theres a smaller update file for you instead:
